The 2009 International Houby Queen Pageant will take place this year at Skylight West Banquets on Friday, October 2, 2009.
If you have been in a Houby Queen Pageant before and have not been crowned, you are welcome to participate again if you still meet the qualifications.
Qualifications:
Single woman (unmarried)
Between the ages of 16 & 21
Reside or work in Cicero, Berwyn, Lyons, Riverside, North Riverside, Oak Park, Stickney, or Brookfield
No children
Currently enrolled in school or be attending school in the fall
Winners of the Annual International Houby Pageant will receive a scholarship and/or prizes donated by local businesses. The Queen will be expected to take part in several community events during her year as queen. THERE IS NO COST TO ENTER THE PAGEANT.
